Stewart earned his Degree in Architecture at the University of California at Berkeley in 1989. He then spent nearly 20 years gaining experience working for various architecture firms in the Bay Area before starting SKS Architects in 2007.
In addition to architectural design, Stewart has an extensive background in planning, construction and green building. He is both a Certified Green Building Professional and a GreenPoint Rater in affiliation with Build It Green. Stewart is also a member of the City of San Rafael’s Design Review Board. Over the years, Stewart has built strong relationships with builders, engineers and governmental agencies allowing projects to proceed efficiently.
